Finally, fall! The sun goes down a little earlier, the temperatures are a little cooler (well, unless you're in SoCal), and it's time to break out a new handbag. Here's what's on trend this season:
1) Burgundy
This is the "it" color for fall. Wear it as a neutral - you'll find it goes with everything! I'm partial to this beautiful Rebecca Minkoff Mini 5 Zip, I just love the gold hardware and the asymmetrical zippers. $195 (plus 15% off if you sign up for the email list, which results in hours of happy virtual window shopping)
2) Leopard
If you're feeling loud, grab a leopard print bag! Goes great with burgundy or this season's other favorite color, navy. I actually kind of love this Betsey Johnson Quilted Leopard-Print Satchel. I mean if you're going to be loud, be loud! And with an $80 price tag, you might as well go for it. If you're ready to try the trend but not up for being quite so bold about it, here are a few ideas for styling a leopard print clutch.
3) Tassels
Fringe, tassels, hang-ie things... it seems like like all the big fashion houses are doing it this season. Some are a little too much, but I LOVE this simple hobo by Andi Rose. The trend is so understated here, but still adds personality to the bag. Which is only $29 on sale! And there's a gorgeous brown that's delicious. I may just have to pick one of these up for myself...
I'm linking up with the SoCal Blogger Society, a darn cool group of bloggers who inspire me daily! If you're interested in meeting fellow bloggers who will help you along your blogging journey, let me know and I'll get you an invitation.
