Here's what purse to take to an NFL football game

Happy first week of football! In my house, this is a holiday. We call it Football Christmas. This is the start of having friends over every weekend, constant laughter, smack talking, and eating too much food.

Because we don't have a local team, here in LA football happens in your house or at a bar. But for you lucky people in Detroit, New Orleans, San Diego and 29 other cities, you get to see your teams in person! When you go to a live NFL game, though, there are only certain handbags you can take with you. Here's what to bring:

 

• a clear bag no larger than 12" x 6" x 12"
• a small clutch the size of your hand (your hand is smaller than you think!)
• you can get exceptions for medical items, but you need approval before you go into the stadium

FYI you cannot bring:

• backpacks
• fanny packs
• anything bigger than a clutch (a very small clutch!)
• briefcases
• coolers (but don't worry, you can still take them to the tailgate)
