Hello SoCal Bloggers! Can you believe it’s October already? While the weather hasn’t turned yet, one thing has changed… Kate Spade Saturday has come to Los Angeles!
The store is welcoming, with friendly staff and an inviting sign tempting you to come inside. I’ve always loved the voice of Kate Spade (I could swear she’s talking directly to me) and already Saturday has the same appeal. This latest location is a neat, brightly lit fusion of well organized prints and vibrant colors. Oranges, greens, purples and yellows delight the eyes. The gazebo-like storefront is full of movement with waving mannequins in impeccable shoes, and two chairs just beckon you to sit down and stay awhile.
I’ve been to Kate Spade Saturday online a hundred times, but I’m usually so caught up in the handbags I miss the rest. I had no idea there was so much to this line! The housewares are particularly fun. The black and white plates are unexpectedly playful, and would be lovely matched with the bowls and little mugs. And the jewelry is a treat! Simple lines with a pop of color. I fell in love with these cube earrings, they’d be lovely with a yellow scarf, brown handbag and a pair of boots.
I’m impressed with Kate Spade’s foray into the city of angels. I’ll be headed back to stock up for the holiday season, come join me!
